i use centre tab transformer 12v-0-12v ,1A out put voltage and current enough.
similar to 6v,9v etc transformer use and test successful

What's the use of this method, you use 230v to step-down to 12v and again you use a another transformer to step-up the voltage.
Instead of this, one can directly use the bulb on 230v directly.
