My room mate and I used to own the 7.1 SSE before going ahead with purchasing the 7.1 eARC for our tiny apartment. I am going to say the upgrade brings immersiveness to the next level in terms of audio and bass, typically the bass is punchier and more precise as it's now 10". You did great showing the unboxing and speaker set up to show that the satellites are not wireless. Also they use an RCA audio cable. It is just like a Vizio sound bar setup. Amazon doesn't show the hook ups in the description photos or a set up video in the older version. However I'm not looking to get the Pro but the older one with a smaller sub.

I used to be a big one for surround sound speakers that but I got myself Creative LabsSound BlasterX Katana Gaming Soundbar w/ Wireless Subwoofer & Remote Control

And I've been pleasantly surprised and enjoying it

If I connect a apple tv 4k. Do I connect it to the soundbar to get the best sound? I have a vava ultra short throw projector.

When I connect via Earc I get no sound out of the system. It gives me a mute icon on the tv screen and when I try to raise the volume on unmute nothing happens. It worked fine for 2 days then it just randomly stopped.
