Huawei P8 Review

With the announcement of its latest flagship handset, Huawei has shed the Ascend moniker, choosing instead to go with a direct approach by merely naming it the P8. QHD makes absolutely no sense on a 5.2" screen. It'll waste the battery life and hurt the performance.

In my opinion, these Chinese manufacturers do a fantastic job producing smartphones with flagship specs at a low price point. My biggest gripe with these devices is the interface/Android skin. The logic is just different to those of other manufacturers. If I were to get a Huawei or Oppo device, I would almost definitely use a launcher.

I remember when the iPhone didn't have a camera hump and everyone was saying the iPhone is better because it is thinner because true thinness doesn't count the camera hump. Then the iPhone 6 came out, and it had a camera 🎥 hump and all of a sudden the iPhone fans defend it, saying it's good. But there are many phones that are thinner that have no camera hump.

I absolutely love my P8! from the sleek design, the premium feel. to the awesome features and amazing camera. the UI is amazing and all for such a good price. I absolutely love it. wouldn't trade it for the world (other than the P9 :P)

The out of part of P8 is better than galaxy s6.
Some S6 screens are not horizontal.There are some subsidence in the lower right.

What's with the black borders around the screen? It would look ok in black but you notice them too much on white.

I have used it for almost 2 years. Great camera, display and everydayuse performance. just a little bit disappointed in Heavy Gaming Performance and Battery. But Overall it's pretty great phone.

My Huawei p7 camera is amazing. Especially the frony facing one. Can not wait to my hands on P8, the liggt painting would be fun.

How is working after 4, 5 months?? Does it start to lag a lot? Or something else could happen to the majority of Huawei devices? I am asking this, because I was at a mobile phone shop, and the employee said the quality of their devices are not good.
