Did you know the opening theme song is Yuu singing to Mika and the ending is Mika's response? The create confirmed it earlier. Both of these songs now make me cry.

That heartbreaking moment when the lyric “Are you still my family?” hits when it’s showing Mika really battered up, injured and bleeding with a crazed look on his face, while trying to get to the unconscious Yuu on Kimizuki’s back.

I read somewhere that The opening song X.U is about Yuu taking to Mika and this song is Mika responding to Yuu.

I like how this song can be told by both Yuu and Mika's point of view. According to how Mika views humans, and according to how Yuu views vampires.

(May have gotten mixed up a little with the lyrics but I think I got the general contrasting viewpoints between the two songs)

This song is so deep. "my resolution failed" refers to when he wanted to escape Sanguinem and made that plan, which we all know of. That day when (almost) his entire family was killed, he still lives with that and the light of day still hurts him. Not a day goes by without thinking of them

This song isn't just about this or that scene, it's what Mika lives with every day. This song expresses that everytime it gets played. Like people mentioned, it's played when he gets through soldiers to get to Yuu -> he's hurting humans, as a vampire. He's become what killed his family and god this song is so emotional

Talking about Scapegoat of course, XU is yuu's song
