Bayverse Ironhide has always been my favorite version of him. It's something about his voice, design, personality and quotes that made him my favorite character of the franchise.

Movie Bayverse Ironhide just wears that name PROUDLY. It was the design that introduced me to the character as a whole. He just gives off the whole heavy assault trooper vibe with his cannons and heavy armor.

I absolutely love that Season 4 Animated Ironhide design, it just feels so much like Ironhide and mixes the best aspects about his character. This is something I would've loved to seen the BB movie do with it's Ironhide design but I still very much love the BB design regardless.

As much as I dislike the bay verse movies, I like the idea of a pickup truck Ironhide, it just fits him more than a van does in my honest opinion

Bayverse Ironhide was my first incarnation of the character, and he'll always be one of my favorites. Deep blue, pickup truck, awesome cannons, no fricks given. Even though those movies weren't the best, I still love their Ironhide.

Ironhide is the best character after jetfire and sadly he is a cancelled TFP character but he's cool as well in bayverse-rid 2001-energon

Fun fact: Ironhide and Ratchet's Bayverse faces were actually based off their original G1 figures.

Beast Wars Ironhide is actually G1 Ironhide. Apparently sometime after G1, Ironhide was brought back to life and then reformatted into this design

Intresting thing I wanna point out here. Earth mode Animated Ironhide has a reference to the G1 toy/boxart design, if you look at his head, part of his windshield is in front of his face, just like with the G1 toy where what's meant to be his head is covered up by the windshield.

The original concept of the Diaclone toy was that it was a transformable mech rider that a person could ride. Safe to say it did not translate well as an independently operating Transformer toy.

I grew up with the Michael Bay movies, so I have to say Bay’s Ironhide is my favorite. It’s actually really weird to see a red Ironhide after seeing that one
