A family found eight tiny babies and their mother in the grass. Unfortunately, the mother was dead, so they took the babies to the local zoo.
The staff tried their best to bottle-feed them, but the little ones were stubborn and refused to eat from bottles or pipettes. Each day the hedgehogs grew weaker and the staff feared the worst.
A cat named Mysya had been hanging around the hedgehog cage since the first day. Mysya was a stray cat who had been brought to the zoo pregnant. After raising her kittens, she was sterilized. But since it was only a few days ago, she still had milk.
The staff let the cat near the babies and a miracle happened. The hedgehogs finally began to eat!
