Local variables are temporary variables that are accessed in your request scripts. Local variable values are scoped to a single request or collection run, and are no longer available when the run is complete. Local variables are suitable if you need a value to override all other variable scopes but don't want the value to persist once execution has ended. #postman #apitesting

thanks. another great video. just one humble suggestion. when you start a new video in a series, just start from the same window at the very end of the last video. otherwise, when in the new video some codes are already written, it may get confusing.

local variable defined at collection level is same as collection variable? My understanding is local variable defined at collection level is also available for all the requests in that collection
