Much like fossils in paleontology, we are missing more than we'll ever find.
Unlimited discover is the reward for looking.
Fun!

I heard from someone in turkey that they are closing the site. Why would they do that with this great archeological discovery

It is quite obvious it goes back to the ice age. Because, i believe the eternal freeze in the norse creation myth is the ice age going away.

Yeah but now at Gobekli Tepe their sinking iron shafts into unexcavated areas and Paving over others that haven't been excavated and have put complete excavations on hold, they won't be completed for up to 150 years. One of the most important historical sites in the world and they're building over unexcavated areas and putting a completing excavations of the site on hold for over a century. What don't they want the world to see?

Mecca wasn't even thought of 12 thousand years ago. It wasn't even a pothole. Neither was any monotheistic religion. We have no idea what beliefs they had at that point.

Personally I've always felt the dates that we got taught in school were always wrong. But at the same time as students we weren't allowed to question the teacher. So our thoughts got sushed. I even was removed from History class several times. I believe Human civilization has been here since before the Ice age, possibly by Millions of years. I argued with my geography teacher about the Sphinx over the Erosion, I told my teacher that it looked more like Water Erosion than wind and sand, I was made to leave the class. This was when I was in Middle School around 8th grade or so...I still think the Pyramids around d the world are all connected somehow. I never believed anything about Columbus either. New dating kinda makes my feeling validated.

There are buildings and walls on Ancient Shores deep below Lake Van, last exposed 18000 yrs ago. Lake Van is up on the Turkey, Syria, Armenian borders and not far from the Teppe's and Mt. Ararat.
The Lake Van Civilisation may prove pivotal in the history of the area, alas there is little chance of investigation due to location and costs.

Die einzige Frage sollte sein, warum wurde diese Anlage von 3 Generationen sorgfältig zugeschüttet?
