Orchestration Techniques for Four-Part Harmony

In this fourth and final video in this series on four-part harmony (aka four-voice counterpoint), I'll show you how you can turn your four-part harmony into a full orchestral piece! We'll arrange three very different versions of the original Bach chorale that I showed last time, and I'll show you the orchestration in detail. We'll summarize the techniques I used, and finally hear the two-minute piece in full.

Hello!! I've got a challenge for you... You've got to compose a 'pasodoble', which is a typical valencian genre, whose antecessor are old Military marchs. It's structure is normally A(piano) -B(forte) and a "TRIO", which is played piano the first time and then it repeats itself but Forte, adding stuff to the melody already done. You can add a little coda at the end if you consider it's necessary and make transicions between each theme.

As a "reference", I suggest you to hear "Gaudium", "Benicadell", "La Penya el Frare", "Guy's Band" or any 'pasodoble' made by "Vicent Egea" or "Canet"...
