I upgraded my 2009 mac pro to a 2010 model with the firmware upgrade. I installed a 6core 3.33GHz xeon cpu added 32GB of 1333MHz ram but the system recognises the ram speed as 1066MHz. any idea what is wrong?

I'm looking a getting one of two Mac Pros I found for sale. One has a x2 2.4 GHz quad core xeon processors whereas the other one has a single 2.8 GHz processor (and costs $150 more). Which do you think would be better for gaming?
