When flattening out a watercolour card, I wrap it in scrap paper before putting it through my die cutting machine to avoid impressing the cuts in the plates.

Great hacks, Ingrid! Yep, I was one of those who bought a sanding block, only to eventually use my nail file not only for my paper stumps, but to also remove those nasty 'paper hairs' from die cutting (nail file can get in those tiny pointy curves in the die cuts as well). Thanks for sharing (TFS), Ingrid!

Another way to flatten watercolor paper or cardstock if no heat embossing on it, is to put between a folded piece of parchment paper and send through a laminator. Saw this on Jennifer McGuire's YouTube. Works wonderfully!

Shouldn’t your brushes dry downwards? We don’t want water seeping into the ferrule, right?!?! Informative vid, TFS!✨👍🏾

Great hacks Ingrid! I used an old dictionary just yesterday when I was working on my Christmas cards. I also use it when I do herringbone-backgrounds for birthday cards. 😃

Tyfs! Didn’t think of using an iron, but I have lightly misted water colour paper and run it through my laminator to flatten warping

I've seen this same hack before. I think its time I do it. I have several whites, golds, silvers, etc. from different companies and I couldn't tell you what they look like embossed!
