I also had the combo TA + scholarship during my bachelors there, and this was really comfortable financially, but being a TA was also super motivating for me intellectually. Each time I was learning new stuff I was asking myself "how could I explain it simply to a student asking me a question?" and this really helped me to understand a topic more deeply. I'll try to apply for the ESOP program this month in quantum engineering, hope this works!

Another great way to get insights into a field, make connections, and also make some money, would be being a student research assistant. At least from my experience.
Unfortunately, the pay for that here in Germany is not comparable. ETH really does pay well.

In my university, the teaching assistances are so scare for informatics that they contact bachelor students to give classes to other bachelor students. Why? because the job market offers double the salary and more meaningful experience for the future
