Could Netflix #RestoreTheSnyderverse? We Discuss

Following HBO Max's release of "Zack Snyder's Justice League” in 2021, audiences want more and have been calling for DC to "Restore the Snyderverse.” Now, with James Gunn and Peter Safran appointed the new heads of DC Studios and about to drop their vision for a new DCU (without focusing on Snyderverse actors like Henry Cavill’s Superman), Zack Snyder fans are looking to Netflix to save the Snyderverse.

These hashtag movements continue to exist because WB never allowed fans to have closure with characters & actors they became attached to. Instead, DC fans have had to deal with a ripped band-aid approach, especially the recent Henry Cavill/Superman situation. In a perfect world, it would have been great if there had been one final movie send-off that saluted both the fans & those actors (ie; Henry, Gal, Ben) and acted as a bridge to James Gunn’s new universe. For example, in the mid-80’s, DC Comics did Alan Moore’s seminal story, “Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow” as a love letter to the departing version of Superman before asking fans to follow their newly rebooted post-Crisis comics line. Oh well …

I think Rebel Moon will make an impact that I believe no one will be prepared for.
Watchmen was a film that was ahead of its time. Man of Steel and his vision for his 5 movie arch to complete would've been something not seen before. Like it or not... but Man of Steel has a following that still talked about 10 years since its release. Not many filmmakers have that kind of fan base. A serious take on superheroes and now a serious take in a galactic universe.

There's already multiple universes at dc rn, Matt Reeves's universe, Todd Phillips universe, James Gunn's universe(which he has said there will also be elseworlds), why can't the snyderverse continue? There's massive demand for all of them so why do snyder fans have to be the ones left out

Zack has indicated that he has new story boards for Justice League sequels. So a live action movie would be slightly different from what was displayed

One thing you are forgetting is that the DC/Vertigo "Sand-verse" happens on Netflix, and that Dream of the Endless does interact with characters from the mainstream DC comic book universe, and that the darker nature of the Vertigo titles would fit into the Snyderverse.

Do people actually think Warner wants to acknowledge Snyder’s vision for these characters in any way? And, now that it is rebooting the DCU, why would it allow another DCU to exist that conflicts with its main vision?
Let's not forget the cost it would involve in doing this as it would be astronomical. Netflix would have to cover the cost of the WB/DC IP of the characters, including potentially sales of merchandise. The cost to the actors would be in the hundreds of millions, and then the other added hundreds of millions to make the movies. Doesn't really sound worth it for Netflix to cover a small minority especially when they would be competing with two other DC universes

Anyway, as a SnyderVerse fan, I understand the desperation even if I find it insanely unlikely to continue. Just can’t get over the Darkseid introduction with no payoff coming. Mind blowing. Here's my problem with this video, and everyone like it on YouTube regarding this topic: what is your problem with Snyderverse fans trying to keep their beloved version of the DCEU alive? Why go out of your way to kill a dream?
Since MAN OF STEEL, critics have "hated" Snyder's version of the DC Comics universe. So much that they go out of their way to demoralize the fans that love it. 
It appears that fans can speculate all they want about Star Wars or the MCU, and no matter how ridiculous the rumors and theories are, the community of pundits on YouTube seldom says, "Give up!" Except when it comes to the Snyderverse. And despite what those fans have accomplished.
Fandom isn't only about what is and can or could happen but also what the fans wish would happen, which could be the basis of fan fiction, shipping, and channels like this one that garners attention speculating about a franchise's future.
Why are Synderverse fans mad, and why do they come off as "angry"? Because the channels like this have outcasted and demeaned them for over a decade. And that is also the reason Snyderverse fans will never stop or go away.
When Kevin Fiege listens to MCU fans, everyone cheers.
When LucasFilm listens to Star Wars fans, everyone cheers.
Why is it that when the WB listens to Snyderverse fans, its luck, one in a million, chance, and could never happen again?

I mean, they're currently discussing selling their entire music catalogue for about 1 billion dollars. They're clearly desperate, and desperation can make great change.
Licensing out a maximum of 3 R-rated movies deal could be really beneficial for Warner brothers for quick cash for the license itself and mayube a deal splitting merchandising profits etc.
I moreso see less benefit for Netflix than for WBD, Netflix would have to pay hundreds of millions if not close to a billion of dollars for the license alone, then create 3 movies with a 200 - 300 million dollar budget each ...
I truly believe there's a bigger chance WBD being open for this than Netflix

Whats weird to me folks are stating Snyderverse. Is it a Universe or just JL sequels. It will consist of the same.characters, same interaction with characters, same villain and same background. It's just sequels not a "universe"

I'm sure that it's very possible. Snyder's just been in the background at Netflix making different successful movies, allowing Zaslav to discuss their multiverse plans with Gunn. If it does happen, the studio wouldn't bother Snyder to limit the movie length and ratings. They could also keep it canon in the multiverse instead of acting pigheaded and just wanting one exclusive universe canon. If they want the success of being up there with Marvel, they need to increase their options. Otherwise they'll be behind for quite some time still. From the way that the current universe is going, I'm not really interested in it or a huge fan. Let's just say that I wouldn't watch even one of Gunn's movies.
