When you sell your cover calls at or near the expiration date? Who is going to buy it? Why would anyone buy your call cover that is about to expire? What is the other person is going to do with the expired call option?

Aside from the 100 shares does fidelity require anything from your account before being allowed to sell covered calls? I have a wells fargo brokerage account and they do not allow options on my account even though I have more than 100 shares of stock
