What VP Leni Robredo would do if she were in charge of PH's pandemic response | ANC

Headstart: More than a year and a half into the pandemic, Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo says the Duterte administration still hasn't set its priorities straight. She says this can be seen in the government's spending plan for 2022 in which the Health Department received less than it asked for, while the Anti-Insurgency Task Force and the Public Works Department still enjoy big budgets. If granted the opportunity to lead the country's COVID response, Robredo says, one of her first orders of business will be to provide health workers with the benefits they deserve.

After watching this video, I’m 200% convinced that she’s the right person for the Presidency role. Her response is correct because she’s talking about budget appropriation and provide the right allocation for most important activities. She even tackled that on revisiting the budget of other departments and if possible reallocate their budget which are not at utmost importance against covid response. Isn’t it that this is the right approach? She is very strategic and she thinks like a Finance person full of integrity. I’m starting to love her even more. To those who say na lutang siya- you’re not listening to her because kapag siya ang nakaupo- mahirap maging corrupt kasi she demands transparency. Ang galing niya pero aayawan mo siya kung corrupt ka na politiko. 💖💖💖

We need a Constitution that's of the people, by the people, and for the people... not of the few, by the few, and for the few elites in a central power base who will go on to demand respect from all the people of these islands without thinking long and hard to put an end to the plight of other regions of this land.. I think that the "The Cause" (constitutional change) is bigger than any personality, and the candidates should not think highly of themselves, that they are the answer to everything.
