Really liked this song when it first came out all those years ago but hearing it again now makes me realize how beautiful, uplifting and well constructed it is. Thanks for uploading. 👍🙂

I'd heard somewhere that this song was written to celebrate the death of Generalissimo Francisco Franco, though I've later learned that it was first released a while before Franco died. It still makes me think of Chevy Chase' weekly updates on the state of the general ("still dead", a parody of the ongoing Jimmy Hoffa story) on Saturday Night Live.
