Hip Hop is the most loved genre of all time. We all know Hip Hop but, do you know how hip hop was originated?

The history behind Hip Hop is an interesting one. According to Asher's theory, Hip Hop was originated from South Bronx by "Kool Herc" at a party. His musical techniques astonished everyone where he would pause and repeat the musical breaks, it was at this point, Hip Hop music has evolved. It became so popular that young boys used to walk with boom boxes around the street and people would start rhyming words to the rhythm of the music, which was later known as "Rapping". The Hip Hop community continued to grow commercially and the first Hip Hop album was released in 1979 by "The Sugarhillgang Rappers Delight".
"Kurtis Blow" then came up with more Upbeat music. "Salt N Pepper" represented feminine power through music. And, groups like PUBLIC, ENEMY, and NWA used music to spread the message about corruption, oppression, and politics. Hip Hop has now grown to be a worldwide movement.
