The mental disconnect people discussing “simulation theory” display is, to me, as fascinating as the theory itself. So I approach it with basic questions. If we are living in a simulation, what makes you think you can get out? Why do you think you are somehow not a part (or, at least, a special part) of the simulation? If AI in a video game somehow became self aware and knew that it was in a video game, how would it get out? Where would it go and what would happen to it if it did?
Further more, it amazes me that people will when discussing this theory postulate that the whole simulation is perhaps run by an AI. In order for that to be true, it would have to be the author and creator of all things, be in direct control of everything, and know everything. So, basically God. At the same time they refuse to entertain the idea of an actual God that is literally the same thing without the “artificial” part. Let me ask this: if we are living in a simulated reality where billions upon billions of calculations are necessary for it to run seamlessly and it’s works so well that we, it’s inhabitants, aren’t even aware that this is the case and accept everything as “reality” (which, for all intents and purposes, it is for us), what is the difference between that and “In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth”? Do you realize that this passage tells us exactly the same thing? Put it this way: if “reality” is a simulation, then that simulation is a creation and it would take something incredibly intelligent and powerful to create it and maintain it. Is this not what the Bible tells us is the case? The Bible tells us “God created the heavens and the Earth”. That means before He created it our reality didn’t previously exist. How is that different than this “simulation theory”? I don’t think a lot of people who discuss this theory realize that the “simulation” arguments they use actually reinforce and align with the Biblical description of creation and how this creation works. The problem is, in my experience, most reject the Biblical God as the author of this “simulation”, but readily accept the concept of a God-like AI or super intelligent aliens and other such things. But the Bible already answers all the questions this theory raises. To put it simply, there is no practical difference between a “simulation” and a “creation”. Both are created realities. Yet the former fascinates and is discussed endlessly while the later is considered “myth” and “fantasy” and widely rejected. The truth is, whether you like it or not, if you consider “simulation theory” to be possible or (as many “smart” people have declared it - likely), than you HAVE to accept that the Biblical description of creation is also equally possible (or even likely). Because they function exactly the same - both describe a created reality.

Not sure how this ended up in my feed but a few minutes WATCHING THIS, all kinds of red flags went off. let's say this is a simulation, the basic ground rules have already been established, morality is key. love is essential. Why would any one want to exit? They want to exit because they feel like a failure, deep down inside they just want this life to be over.. DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT. pick yourselves up, and try a different approach. every day is a new day to do something different!!! think of going to bed as the end of your current situation, waking up in the morning a new one!! getting caught up in mindless satanic practices like astral projection, and occult stuff will only invite demonic entities who will whisper in your ears all the lies you choose to hear instead of the truth. take the time to see, and be grateful for the life you have, make the best of it.

Yes, there are video games where if you make a choice like in real life, it opens up an alternate reality, but it also gives you a choice, saying, Are you sure? Giving you a second chance to confirm your choice or to make a different one, making another reality We still haven't figured out how to make those types of choices, but once we figure that out, we can truly control the simulation.

To the creator of the video, thank you for an interesting perspective, just wondered why though if you are trying to give tips on how to leave the simulation, you would say that maybe as person would awaken and choose to go back into the simulation because of the harsh reality of the outside true world? That's an extremely depressing thought, and you don't really know, but I never heard you say anything about what is after or outside of this sim maybe being better? You just say bigger/more expansive.. If you truly are trying to be open to possibilities, you should either mention both of those or neither, at comment totally ruins the video and only would serve to scare people into not even wanting to get out of the simulation, be scared of leaving, although it is possible that that is why only 1% even look to exit the simulation, maybe we all sense or worry deep inside that what is outside of is harsh, and so don't want to wake up/are resisting it/ purposely not thinking about it and purposely living in delusion to stay in it, But I didn't think that's how your video was meant to be

If we evolved to create a simulation indistinguishable from reality, would we make it better than current reality or worst? I hazard a guess we’d make it better yes? Seeing as this is a common thought process, why would you ever want to leave the simulation? As simulations even today are created exactly the same or better than reality, why would one want to “Wake up” into the same, or a much worst situation? The intelligent thing to do would be to stay exactly where you are 👍
