The most important reform should be to ease the proceedings so that it becomes convenient for common citizens to understand the case and to go through it.

Every institutions in a democratic country must be accountable and answerable to people. Independence and accountability are different things

Sir,
Most of the works done by ministerial staffs ( clerks ) in lower judiciary. All orders not dictated by judicial officer. They correct only grammatical mistakes such as "are, in, or etc instead of apply judicial mind. In other hand judicial officers are benefitted much more huge money. Such as clerk's average salary upto 45000 without no other facilities and Judicial officer's average salary upto 160000 with huge facilities

The most reform needed in judiciary is ACCOUNTABILITY and punishment to judges who give judgements against-law and using the discretionary powers. This will reduce accmulation of appeals, revision petitions etc..!

Sir you are missing very crucial aspect - Infrastructure of judicial system only 0.09 % of GDP allotted to judiciary

Judiciary in India has unfortunately evolved into a authoritarian institution, it wields power and intent to intervene in governance as displayed in past AND it is accountable to itself not the people.
