I never tried timed cleaning, but I think it is impossible with my 5 kids! 😂

The only time timed cleaning works for me is after dinner and I tell my husband I need 10-15 minutes to clean up then I’ll come relax. He enjoys us sitting down and relaxing/watch a show together as a family in the evening so during that 10-15 minutes he keeps our son occupied so I can 100% focus on the cleaning. And I usually watch/listen to a cleaning video so I’ve been enjoying your shorter ones!

I’ve never tried timed cleaning but I’m definitely going to give it a go, it seems to keep the cleaning flowing nicely….life happens when you have little ones so I completely understand the having to stop during the timer xx

The timer trick is just to get you started! It’s for when you’re struggling with the thought of cleaning and you tell yourself “I’m gonna set a timer for X amount of time and if I don’t feel like cleaning anymore after that I’m not going to make myself.” But usually once you get started you don’t mind finishing. So you just keep going. It’s just meant to trick your brain in the beginning.

I’m a list maker I love checking tasks off. I must get most of the listed tasks completed before adding to the list. Also I have a certain chore that gets me started. My task is laundry. Once I get a load going I’m ready to go

I am not a “timer person” for completing jobs. I do jobs per day as much as I can. Bedrooms one day, living and dining one day and kitchen daily. But I do laundry 3 days a week. I teach all day then do chores for home. I really try to clean my kitchen as I cook. My kids were trained to clean their own dish after each meal. But I started that at age 4-5 a little bit. I use timers for breaks 😅😅😂when I deep clean.
