The 2024 Hyundai Kona Electric has finally arrived in Australia, where it's looking to up the ante for all-electric vehicles (EVs) in the highly competitive Small SUV segment. The first-generation model made quite the impact, but this new second-generation version is looking to tempt car buyers even more.

So, how is the redesigned Kona Electric going to do it? Well, aside from its space-age exterior styling that's sure to divide opinion, it has a much larger (and more modern) interior, which is sure to be music to the ears of second-row passengers, who were previously deprived of room.

But in this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Andrew Chesterton also explores the revised MG ZS EV and Kia Niro Electric rival's zero-emissions powertrain, which promises to deliver better efficiency and, therefore, a longer driving range than its predecessor. Game on.

Did Hyundai tell you where to drive or something around Canberra almost like a circuit? Same locations as a previous review I just watched from another channel. I'm getting the premium myself had decided that long ago once it was first released globally(in other countries of course as even the media event was back in November last year...must longest embargo ever in history)

What are they doing for a $520 service to an EV? You’re a handful of $ away from a model Y at the premium end so why would you get this?
