please note socialism will be a disaster. it capitalism economy with a bit of socialism that is the best way out. you need a welfare state but u cannot rely on welfare completely that is why u need capitalist to grow the economy. socialism brings laziness, i don't care attitude and great corruption. China will tell u better, when they introduced capitalism to their communism u can see how they brought over 500m people out of poverty within 20 years. The problems with Nigeria is unitary form of govt, we are not actually practising federalism. we have all sort of discriminations e.g racial, gender, religious, age, sexual, and educational discrimination. we have no values at all. our values is centred on money. until we become a country of values things will not change. our problem is not capitalism or socialism. Let have many nation inside a country like in UK (Scotland, England, wales) e.g yorubaland, hausaland, igboland, ijawland etc inside one Nigeria where each one will have 80% control on their nation and they can trade with each others resources. hausaland nation can invest her companies into oil, fishing in Ijawland and yorubaland can invest her companies on palm kernel etc in igboland. each country should contain distinct group of people. when you have heterogeneous state you are bound to have problems because it will become tribal and every tribe will be fighting for common resources. Look at heterogeneous states in Nigeria e.g delta, kogi etc. see what happened in Belgium before they were able to get over it. yorubaland should contain only land belong to yoruba same applies to others such as hausaland, igboland etc. we also need to stop discrimination especially racial discrimination, any hausa born and bred in yorubaland should be seen as a yoruba and should have full right as yourba vice versa but the case is not what we have now. stop asking people what is your state of your origin, that pisses me off despite the person speaks your language fluently. Imagine our children are not being welcomed in western world where we live how do we feel despite they were born and bred here.
