The Custom Walnut is a unique bird that is ready fly into your arms. Sporting an aged to perfection nitro finish over an Ash Body, this guitar is showing the wear of a thousand gigs. Comfortable neck as always from the Fender Custom Shop, this one has a little extra mojo from a 5/4 sawn maple neck that is steadfast in it construction. Vintage Schaller Tuners and a Classic Tele bridge make sure that Neck is maintaining perfect intonation with every note. I bought my first tele last year (thanks lockdowns :) and I play it more than any guitar I own now. This is coming from a life long Strat guy. What took me so long? Sweet tones on that baby. Your gentle approach to playing has inspired me in the same direction and changes things quite a bit. I'm able to play with the amp turned up louder anyway....good stuff Mr. C!!

That's more like the one I built. Mine is black with cream colored pick guard but it has the same pickup configuration. It has brass saddles

Beautiful sounding and I'm sure playing instrument, but that "relic" stuff is for stupid people! I had a '72 Deluxe in orange that was killer barely had a scratch on it, but sadly had to part with it.
