A compilation of the top 15 worst plays from the 2023 college football season. This list includes embarrassing mishaps and game losing mistakes. The order of this list is entirely based on my opinion as no metric was used to rank the plays. I still for the life of me can't comprehend why in the hell, with the game all but in the icebox, Mario Cristobal decided to run the damn football when all his team had to do was kneel down and they win. 'Chaney shouldn't have fumbled, it's his fault...', 'his elbow was down before the fumble...', yada, yada, yada, all the excuses you can name will never dissuade me from putting this excruciating choke job on the coach. You can't betray your team like that. That basically was a season killer; yes they made a bowl game, but Miami weren't the same after the choke to Georgia Tech.

Honestly the Virginia State/Norfolk State one is the funniest. Dude runs out of bounds on 4th down to give the ball back for a chance to tie and then for some reason its 1st & 5 and then the snap gets botched. Peak comedy

Coaching high school, #2 pisses me off more than anything else. You got a player who wants to show boat but doesn't take the time or have the attention to detail for the basic fundamentals. I told my players, if you score a TD, you celebrate after you hand the ball to the ref with his hands in the air and get back to the sidelines.
