Indeed. Michael Card is a long time favorite of mine. I love his unique and very edifying perspective.

Michael Card is a timeless minister with a song and many songs that gladden our paths. I remember when I first got the 10 Years of a song CD "Joy in the Journey", that was back in 1998. Nothing compared with this gift from a friend. Later and presently I have a number of his music CD's and the feeling it gives me is the same as the first time I was introduced to this inspirational music!

"And freedom for those who believe." ...I understood this better when I had 2 little Yorkshire Terriors, 4 and 8 lbs. I worked on training them to stay within the border of my yard for they could get squashed like a bug by a car, or get into a losing fight with a bigger dog (which would be most any dog). Of course, they didn't know that. However, as long as they obeyed, they had the full run of my yard without a leash or fence! Then they started to wander off more and more and I had to confine them and take away their freedom for their own safety. I think that's like us. We don't always understand why God won't allow some things in our lives but if we obey we will have more freedom. If we do not He will forgive us because he loves us but, for our own good, He will have to put borders around us. As a matter of fact, because of the fall in the garden of Eden we were born with borders but God provided freedom through His son Jesus! Thank you God!!! Thank you Jesus!!!
