Emirates recently introduced brand-new First Class Suites on their Boeing 777 aircraft, and I had the immense pleasure of living it up in one of these ultra-private suites on my way from Dubai to Geneva.

Six fully enclosed suites in the cabin.
Design inspired by Mercedes Benz.
Virtual windows in the middle seats.
Two TV screens in the suite.
Room service via video chat.
"Zero gravity mode" seat position.

I have flown several times in these suites on Emirates, and there is nothing like it on any other airline. These suites are absolutely amazing and luxurious, and comparable to having a private jet, or even better, since the 777 is so large, is very smooth in flight.

How much was the 1st class flight ticket that time ?

This is amazing! Hoping you can help me with a dilemma ( a nice one to have). I have a choice to upgrade one way from Business Class to First Class on one leg of my upcoming flight. Outward flight from Dubai is 12.30 hours. There is a 90 minute layover but I don't change planes. Flights leaves DXB 8am and arrives at the destination late afternoon so not an overnight flight. Return is direct 10 hour over night flight. Which leg of the journey would you recommend me upgrade to First Class? Thanks

150k alaska miles? Yikes. I'm thinking of flying this in November but gonna do around 70k emirates points which transfers 1:1 on via chase. Alaska isnt worth it on Emirates due to the devaluation. Alaska is best for Cathay and JAL
