Battlefield V is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield V is the sixteenth installment in the Battlefield series. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 20, 2018. Those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game were granted early access to the game on November 15, 2018, and Origin Access Premium subscribers on PC received access to the game on November 9, 2018. The game is based on World War II and is a thematic continuation of its World War I based precursor Battlefield 1.

Battlefield V will focus extensively on party-based features and mechanics, scarcity of resources, and removing "abstractions" from game mechanics to increase realism. There will be an expanded focus on player customization through the new Company system, where players will be able to create multiple characters with various cosmetic and weapon options. Cosmetic items, and currency used to purchase others, will be earned by completing in-game objectives.

The game will feature several new multiplayer modes, including the "continuous" campaign mode "Tides of War", "Firestorm", and "Grand Operations". The Grand Operations mode is an expansion of the "Operations" mode introduced in Battlefield 1, which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages to simulate a campaign from the war. In Grand Operations, each round will have specific objectives, and performance in each stage will influence the next. Games will culminate with a "Final Stand", with players using only a primary weapon with limited ammo, and no respawns. Similarly to Battlefield 1, the game will feature a collection of single-player "war stories" based on aspects of World War II. The game also features a cooperative mode not seen since Battlefield 3 called "Combined Arms", where four players can undertake missions together and features dynamic missions and objectives so missions cannot be played the same way each time. Combined Arms is scheduled to be released after launch. The Battle Royale mode will be built around the franchise's "core pillars of destruction, team play, and vehicles". The name "Firestorm" is derived from a literal storm of fire that engulfs players similar to the popular Battle Royale game mechanic of restricting the play area. Furthermore, this particular game mode is not being developed by EA DICE themselves, but has been outsourced to Criterion Games and features the biggest map created by the franchise to date. It appears that there is a bug for getting the tank even after completing the assignments. DICE seems to be aware of the issue but there is no current fix.

I have had a similar bug of not being able to receive the war stories melee weapons after completing them. There was a fix that worked for a lot of people. This has not been tested for this particular bug whether it can be fixed or not but I will leave the instructions here so if anyone wants to give it a go and try it out.

Got it last night, finished up the challenge. That challenge wasn't that hard to do. Took it for a spin on PanzerStorm. I got a few good tags on a couple Churchills, but others stole the kills. It has poorest visibility of all the tanks so far. Maybe with the upgraded 75mm it might be better. That left blind side is worse than my Jeep.

I like the StuG. I think it looks great and it's fun to play. But... at the end of the day, the Panzer IV is a much better tank overall.
The StuG's smaller silhouette and slightly bigger cannon does not make up for the lack of a turret or co-ax MG.

is the other canon for the panzer IV called pak 39 L/43?

the panzer IV usd the kwk (kampfwagenkanone) not the pak. that are 2 different canons. that is the thing i hate in bf5, it isnt that hard to use the internet to get the right informations about vehicles.

I like it, I Just got 8 vehicle kills + some assists with it on panzerstorm, including one where I got ambushed by a Churchill, charged it and got behind it to kill it with 2 APC shells. I generally don't have trouble with staghounds unless the tracks are damaged; the reverse and turning speed are surprisingly good once it gets going.

Case round is amazing on panzer 4, if u want good damage aim for the turret, especially on light tanks where it does like 41 damage

Great video! Personally I prefer the S-Mines, because of the lack of a turret (as mentioned in this video). They really help when 5 enemies are charging at you simultaneously with boomsticks. The shielded MG for the second position is also nice, but it's a bit of a hassle pressing F2 to change to it.

This tank shines at long range combat. I believe it's made for long range, stationary tank hunting.

It kinda bothers me that this is often referred to/used as a Tank Destroyer when it really isn't. Sure it can get an AT cannon, but even then it's designed for pretty much the sole purpose (IRL and in-game) to be an assault gun as the name suggests, sticking with the infantry (or hanging to the rear) to back them up. Generally speaking, it's an IFV if you want to get technical. Although the damage boost against vehicles is nice, although I try my best to avoid them despite some of the advantages unless it's a fight I know I can win. Hands down favorite ground vehicle in the game. Great video though, I tried the specializations you suggested and I did a good bit better.

Instead of reinforced engine they should add a upgrade to your engine allowing faster speeds and faster track traverse

the F2 position is so strong it's unbelievable, I just did 45-5 on Hamada, out of all maps

This things a beast with two good squad mates in it it with a Keen eye and wont hurt to have and support healing you up every now and then

Could you please consider making a video for best specializations for all tanks in a game? There are videos of this kind from few other creators, but I feel they are not thorough enough (and overall not very correct). Judging by your content, you could make a great guide.

I love it. Along with the tank buffs this last patch gave us the tanks don’t get melted by assault players anymore. I did the engine armor upgrade, track upgrade, heavy cannon upgrade, and then the armor piercing upgrade. It’s great against infantry and it’s an amazing tank hunter. I wouldn’t recommend anyone using it in close combat so staying a bit back and you’ll get a lot of kills.
