I am really looking forward to your next vid Nathan, as it is what I believe I've needed more than ever lately. See, I've found myself jumping around from learning to learning, concept to concept, task to task, never being focused on completing something, setting one goal at a time, and getting good at it, which is the real way to learn. Sure, I know a lot more than when I did when I started almost two years ago at my company, but I just have to be sure I learn what is needed to upskill, advance, or even to be looked at as a more valuable finance co-pilot analyst (my current role).

Hi Nathan. Thank you for your content. But one thing, i am very familiar with the grading system of IMA. Considering the following: 1) IMA states that you need to answer at least 50% of the MCQs correctly to move to essay part “which means at least 45 correct MCQs out of the graded 90 MCQs. 2) IMA states that all MCQs are weighted equally. 3) the passing grade of 360 does not equal 72% because it depends on the difficulty of the exam.

However, there is one thing that is not clear. I believe there were students who scored 250-260 and they didn’t get to the essay part. Lets assume that this student answered 44 MCQs correctly out of the 90 MCQs. Since we are 100% certain that all MCQs are weighted equally, this definitely means that in his exam the 250 / 44= 5.68 is the score for each Multiple choice question. Thus, 90 graded MCQ * 5.67 = 511 total score of the MCQ part only. Which it does not make sense at all.

Hence, i believe there is something unclear regarding that all MCQs are weighted equally.
