I remembered their games came in big luxurious boxes, hefty manuals and it included a keyboard overlay. 😊

Silent Service, Gunship, F19 Stealth Fighter, Civilization, Elite, Falcon x.0, Darklands, Master of Orion/Magic, X-Com, and many others. What a legendary studio that I'd never thought I'd see again.

Coming home from the computer store with a Microprose game in your hands was more exciting then Christmas morning back in the day.

Micro prose is a name I didn’t think I would ever see again. I’m looking forward to playing some of these.

I still have my original Falcon 4.0 copy from 1998 in the box and I'm mighty proud of that.
I bought the HOTAS Cougar because of Falcon in the 90s and have not regretted it to this day.

Even after more than 20 years I still play it (BMS) and it never gets boring. Thanks to the great modder team.
For me, Microprose is the best game developer of the last 30 years.

I remember a time when you just bought the game because it said Microprose on the box. It didn't matter what the game was, it will be good. I hope this signals a come back for them.

My great grand father's b-17 was lost over Europe during WW2 the wreckage was not found until 1997 and my grandfather was able to finally bring his father home... A modern b-17 game would be awesome to experience!

I bought quite a few of the Micropose sims. I do remember at the time if computers would become so advanced that the actual graphics would ever look as good as the box art.

When I saw an email yesterday from MicroProse that announced these games I pretty much started screaming at work hahaa. God, to fly and manage a B-17 with my friends would be a dream come true. Even just to play a modern simulator around the B-17, because I loved the 2000 game so much. I've been waiting for about 2 years to hear this announcement and I'm going to be watching these like a hawk. Thank you!

Legendary studio. Let's hope these games can bring back those old days.

This brings back so many memories. The old B-17 was so primitive by today's standards I bet they could have released it as a browser-based game.

I get them all. Microprose, SSI, Dynamix. That was my childhood

What?! Holy cow... this is the best thing I've heard in gaming for years! One of the all-time greatest dev houses - right up there with Westwood, Sierra, Bullfrog, LucasArts, and ID.

One of the MicroProse games I remember fondly was a World War I sim called Knights of the Sky. I hope they do an updated version of that.

Yes I am of that age where the word Microprose gets my attention. For many, myself as well, it was a gold standard. I miss "Taskforce 1942" as it was only in DOS. and I would love to see a new version of "Pirates". (I still ocasionally play the Y2K version, relaxing fun.)
