What I love and admire about Madonna is that she always allows her collaborators to shine so brightly. Nicki is utterly brilliant and beautiful here, so fierce. Similarly with Pharrell and Kanye when she features them on her Sticky and Sweet tour. Both deliver classy, sophisticated, powerful performances. She is probably the only megastar who was secure enough to share the limelight with her wonderful backup singers, Niki Haris and Donna De Lory who, as any Madonna fan will tell you, are sorely missed and much appreciated. Madonna gave those two wonderful artists the roles of their lifetime and I'm sure they look back in awe and appreciation at the amazing performances they invariably gave on M's many tours.
