Maduro Fights To Hold Power

Chaos has taken over Venezuela as Maduro tries to hold onto power. Yesterday, Maduro’s electoral council declared victory for him saying that he won 51% to 44%. However, the opposition alleges voting fraud and irregularities and they have declared victory themselves. Saying that their records show they won 70% of the vote. The United States says that the result is fraudulent and called for every vote to be counted transparently & for the election commission to share their information. The US had eased sanctions on Venezuela after Maduro agreed to have this election, and if it’s true that he stole the election — harsher sanctions will likely be reapplied. Generally speaking, this administration’s Latin America policy is that dictators are not allowed to exist in the Western hemisphere with the US being critical in protecting Brazil & Guatemala’s elections from coups. The rest of the world has weighed in too with Argentina calling for Maduro to go. Chile said the results were hard to believe. Peru rejected the results of the election. Columbia called for an audit of the election. Panama cut off relations with Venezuela. The UK & EU called for more transparency and for the will of the people to be respected. Russia, Cuba, and China congratulated Maduro on the win.. because birds of a feather stick together.

I’m Hispanic I’m im Venezuelan and he’s horrible, he even warned everyone if he looses there will be a “bloodbath” and in Venezuela it means war but like killing everyone not fighting another country he means killing ppl and he won, Thanks god he’s going to jail for saying that
