So what made you go look at a wire nut at the switch? I don’t get that one

All of my outlets are showing open ground. Except my refrigerator and bathroom. It's an older house. Why would I have no power in in my kitchen and living room. They also show open ground with the outlet tester but I get no power.

Ok, we have no lights or outlets working in our 3 season room, yet they all test positive for power, even the bulb socket on ceiling light test positive for power, even with switches in off, yet nothing works. My brother tested them all for power with a tester. hes not an electrician, and says hes not sure what exactly this means, but its not good! my husband is disabled and we cant afford an electrician right now, but just wondering what it could be.
