WORKOUT 13.5

MEN - includes Masters Men up to 54 years old
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 4 minutes of:
100 pound Thruster, 15 reps
15 Chest to bar Pull-ups

If 90 reps (3 rounds) are completed in under 4 minutes, time extends to 8 minutes.
If 180 reps (6 rounds) are completed in under 8 minutes, time extends to 12 minutes.
If 270 reps (9 rounds) are completed in under 12 minutes, time extends to 16 minutes.
Etc.

WOMEN - includes Masters Women up to 54 years old
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 4 minutes of:
65 pound Thruster, 15 reps
15 Chest to bar Pull-ups

If 90 reps (3 rounds) are completed in under 4 minutes, time extends to 8 minutes.
If 180 reps (6 rounds) are completed in under 8 minutes, time extends to 12 minutes.
If 270 reps (9 rounds) are completed in under 12 minutes, time extends to 16 minutes.
Etc.

MASTERS MEN - includes Masters Men 55+
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 4 minutes of:
65 pound Thruster, 15 reps
15 Chin over bar Pull-ups

If 90 reps (3 rounds) are completed in under 4 minutes, time extends to 8 minutes.
If 180 reps (6 rounds) are completed in under 8 minutes, time extends to 12 minutes.
If 270 reps (9 rounds) are completed in under 12 minutes, time extends to 16 minutes.
Etc.

MASTERS WOMEN - includes Masters Women 55+
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 4 minutes of:
45 pound Thruster, 15 reps
15 Jumping chest to bar Pull-ups

If 90 reps (3 rounds) are completed in under 4 minutes, time extends to 8 minutes.
If 180 reps (6 rounds) are completed in under 8 minutes, time extends to 12 minutes.
If 270 reps (9 rounds) are completed in under 12 minutes, time extends to 16 minutes.
Etc.

Crossfit : A training of mental & physical endurance. The mentality of never giving up, gotta push foward & physically overcoming the pain of the lactic acid build up in the muscles.

for the workout experts saying they did 0 pull ups, how many of you can do 226 reps in 12 minutes? probably the same answer you guys are all shouting. ZERO.

The pull up jokes and comments here are People who know nothing about cross fit let alone fitness. It takes more energy and condition to those pull ups which are called kipping chest 2 bar pull ups. The kip come from your legs while maintaing a hollow position from your shoulders and core ... just dropped some knowledge for all u gym knuckleheads. Strict pull ups very basic and can be done no problem for these guys.

I’d hate on the pull ups...But I couldn’t even do those incorrectly so I’m going to keep my mouth shut.

Lol if y’all think that these pull ups are so bad, then why not email David Castro, the creator of CrossFit, and tell him to change it. For now, don’t criticize something you’ve most likely never tried.

I'm not a crossfit expert, can anyone explain me why are they doing "pull ups" like that ? Is it a "crossfit-style pull up" or just a way to do pullups that is just easier ?
