Happy GIS Day

The GIS and Remote Sensing Research Center (GIRS) was founded in 1984 (the Division's predecessor was the Centre for Space Physics and Remote Sensing Technology). It is one of the organizations working in the fields of Remote Sensing (RS), Geographical Infomation Systems (GIS) and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) development and applications.
