Seeing sand red parts being used for such an experiment is painful

I like how concrete can’t destroy the droid but a kid playing with it makes it crack into a million pieces.

Several years after the Clone Wars, a lone moisture farmer on Tatooine was exploring a dark cave. As he went further in, he found several remnants from that era. But then at the back of the cave. A fossilized B1 Geonosis battle droid, in perfect condition.

He decided to figure out a way to extract said droid from the tough stone, but nothing worked. As he was looking around all the Clone Wars relics, he found and old Lightsaber. Most likely used by a Jedi before they were killed by Order 66.

He had decided to use said lightsaber to carve out the chunk of stone the droid was in. He brought it back to his shack just outside of Mos Eisley, and started hammering away at the stone. After a few days, the droid was completely extracted. All of the wiring was gone, but the shell was in almost mint condition. He used his limited skill and knowledge to rewire the droid. He managed to finally fix the droid. The droid helped him with things that he needed from now on.

That droid was given a new name that day
It would be forever known as GS-1124

The legend of GS-1124 was passed on through several generations to come.
Hopefully one day, more Clone Wars artifacts were to be discovered and revived.

I love how that figure lasted trapped in stone outside for longer than I've been alive, but brown bricks snap if you breathe on them

Didn’t know LEGOs existed millions of years ago, this is proof that LEGOs have been around since the Ice Age. (Or older.)

The moment you realise it's actually a sand red Geonosian Battle Droid and not the common tan coloured one 😬

The lore potential here is astounding. Imagine a single B-1 battle droid buried when the clones disabled that fleeing Trade Federation star ship on Geonosis. Immobile under hundreds of pounds of sand, but in otherwise perfectly operational condition, and sheltered from the elements. Knowing it may never see the light of day again, it begins shutting down, sparing only enough energy for its data storage to keep record of its experiences up to that point.

1, 000 years later, it is discovered and resurrected by a team of archaeologists and anthropologists on an expedition to unravel the mysteries of the beginnings of the Clone Wars.

I found an old lego plate with wheels at the bottom of a compost bin I was digging up in the Scottish Isles last year. Looked it up and the part is number 122c01 which was in production from 1978 to 1994 (meaning it's at least as old as I am!). The metal axle was rusted and the rubber tyres had turned to solid plastic, but still worked with modern bricks!

I want archeologists to find this figure hundreds of years later and make an organic mini battle droid

I'm surprised. Battle Droids usually have the crappiest quality in my experience.

Listen to how badass it sounds: a battle droid incased in stone for 18 years, waiting to be released back into combat

Call the power miners. Use the cave crusher to break open the rock, and free the droid. POWER MINERS

At my grandma’s house, she has a spoon submerged into the concrete like the battle droid was. I don’t know how it got in there because her house was made in like, the mid-1900s, but it is interesting to see.

I remember that someone I knew froze a Lego clone trooper in grey plasticine and then ice, he still has it in his freezer to this day
