"They don't boo nobody's."--Reggie

Arguably, this was the last moment of the 'ol Yankees-Red Sox heated rivalry. All the old timers were retiring or retired already (Manny, Ortiz, Jeter, Posada, Boone, Clemens, A-Rod, Mo, Wakefield, Varitek). After Ortiz, Tex, and A-Rod retired, the face of the rivalry was all about Judge and Betts, not the names you'd expect to go all out criticizing, brawling or trash-talk the opposition.

Might sound stupid but I feel as if booing him was a sign of goodbye, it was all in good fun. End of an era

One of the greatest ever that played the game. Yes he took steroids but he's still was dominant with his natural ability

I feel like this is fitting though, it wouldn't of been right if they cheered him. He's the player Redsux fans love to hate, it's like us Yankee fans and Pedro Martinez.

Missed it by an eighth of an inch and he knows it.

I do remember him hitting a game winning homer in Fenway at some point, may have been during the summer of '05

Kind of surreal to see A Rod, an iconic Yankee pop fly out to Mookie Betts. Betts feeling like another legendary player of a different era now. A Rod playing just feels so long ago to where we’re at now.

That’s all Veritek got to do to A-Rod cuz after that A-Rod had him in the only head lock.

Sox fans are such hypocrites. Ortiz & Manny Ramirez are cheaters themselves lol lol

“Yes, ” he lied, he cheated, he gave phony answers, he does not have a beloved personality, but man, was he ever an athlete. Imposing at the plate and talented. He really ruined what could have been a tried and true Hall of Fame career.
