TEKNOFEST is Turkey's first and only aerospace and technology festival, organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology, with the partnership of many organizations that play a critical role in the development of national technology in Turkey. The first of the TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival was held in 2018. The festival hosts a variety of activities such as technology competitions, air shows, concerts, events and interviews on various topics. The aim is to inform and get support from society in order for Turkey to become a country that produces its national technology.
To achieve the ambitions of thousands of our young people, technology competitions are organized in various disciplines and categories within the scope of Teknofest, which aims to increase the human resources trained in science and engineering domains in Turkey. In the first year of contests, 4,333 teams and 20,000 young people applied to the technological competitions organized in 14 different categories. In 2019, 17,373 teams and 50,000 participants from 81 provinces and 122 countries applied to compete in 19 different categories. In 2020, 20,197 teams and 100,000 young people from 81 provinces and 84 countries applied to the technology contests in 21 different categories held in Gaziantep. TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival will be held at Atatürk Airport from September 21 to September26, 2021. Inspired by its heritage, TEKNOFEST carries on efforts decisively in the journey of the National Technology Move.
