What a way to start a concert! I've listened to "Quién Lo Diría" perhaps 1, 000 times since it popped up on my YT feed. Hearing the song on the album "Como La Piel, " it did NOT even register with me. I had no idea what to make of it - there just wasn't enough orchestration for me to make much sense of it. But with the arrangement Ansgar wrote for this piece, within ONE measure of the orchestra playing I thought to myself, "Holly sh!t, this is the theme song to a soundtrack for a major motion picture! The song is just staggeringly beautiful and the arrangement is stellar. God, I wish I had been in the room!
