Hey Jason, Love ya my man!...My thoughts on adding "gamification" to our reality and merging "more and more action between self and world until they become one" is that it can become an oxymoron. For 99.9% of people this would only force them away from self and overstimulate an already overstimulated population. This is great for those looking to squeeze more widgets from the workforce, but what about truly finding self. Of course when we using terms like 'self' and 'mindedness' I suppose it depend on the context and your definition, but by most truht seeking definitions, they dont exist in the physical world- so more cognitive activity becomes a distraction. "Overlaying digital information on the physical world" can become like painting the pyramids to enhance their majesty...cool, but not really necessary nor enhancing. HOWEVER..."impregnating perception with mindedness" is a place where I do believe that this sort of technology can help people to break free from or enhance their preset perceptions. I love tech, and dont seek to toss the baby with the bathwater, but am wary of piling on more info to a young generation who already can't put down their phones...do they need more...no...can we use it in a way to help them find self in a modern :) Thanks Jason for keepin' us questioning and thinking...

The lines of reality and "other/digital" is happening... I'm very worried of the minds that already have a hard time realizing that fact... is there anything in place to try and make sure cretin mind frames don't, so easily, go only into imagination? With the little I know, I still think that is a very important conversation to have. #whatisreal

I think these strides are amazing and awesome, but when these things - cars...internet...mobile devices..etc...become not just advances and available tools, but a way of life in which people are helpless and lost...destitute without, I think there is a problem. "Self and world becoming one"...I do find interesting from this angle because this concept is generally spiritually related with a focus on shunning hindrances such as technology dependence...concepts such as wu wei and wu nein are viewed as subconsciously and effortlessly knowing and doing in harmony with the world.
