As an elvis fan, i do adore priscilla. I choose to believe elvis was abusive, but this will never change my adoration for him.
Before i get attacked for it, let me say this. As someone who was MENTALLY abused by my ex and is still heavily affected by it, i actively seek out abusive people to find comfort in. it's a trauma response. And i dont want to trauma dump, but i want people to realise elvis fans dont all hate priscilla and think she's a liar. In fact, i adore her to bits. she's like an idol for me.

When he said I got my mamas temper. It triggered so much anger in me it surprised me 😢. All the men in my family have a short fuse. And are violent. And the worst part is, the women encourage it, saying they can't help it bcs it's inherited from their father's. And they don't mean what they say. And when they hit it's okay bcs we probably deserved it and should not anger them. Now I see them doing the same thing with my younger brother and it is driving me crazy. He is 8 years younger than me and has already threatened to hit me bcs of an argument. He came all up in my face and it scared the daylights out of me. And what do you think my parents did for that? Made him say sorry and that's it. Straight up denied all the profanities he said to me. While i cried hysterically, they ignored me. They abused me physically and mentally when I showed resistance, but when it came to him it's okay cus he can't help it.

This was HORRIBLE. The tv version that PRISCILLA produced in’88 with Dale Midliff and Susan Walters was acted and told MUCH, MUCH BETTER than this version. There were soooo many technical errors (where things happened, outfits and hairstyles they had or wore were COMPLETELY wrong! I just couldn’t understand how Priscilla didn’t pick up on those mistakes 😬🥴🤷‍♀️!!
