Here is a fun table that looks like it is twisted. But in reality, this is actually a simple project to build. Come see that not all fancy furniture has to be difficult to build.

I would cut the top in a hexagon shape as well

Thank you SLC! Very best project. It might look cool to cut out the hexagon shape from the circle and lower the circle pieces flush with the top of the hexagon so you can see the shape/pattern still from the top. Maybe even use different stain colors to highlight the contrast of sections. Thanks again for the great video!

Great table. I think actual spiral legs (spindles) would be cool, too. 😊

Great table! I wonder if it would look great (and how easy it would be to make a hexagonal top for it also. But I do love the idea of the glass top too.

What a cool design! I've made some furniture out of 2x4's, and my wife finished them with Danish oil topped with polyurethane, which worked out really well.

Turned out really nicely. I really like seeing creative designs worked on and figured out.

I made one of these and it sold before I even finished it! I think I’m going to play with the dimensions a bit and make a coffee table version so I can offer a whole living room set.

What a cool, fun project! Love the idea of the cutting mat as an alignment tool 👍

Great build, shared with family & friends on Facebook. I really enjoy the way you explain in as much detail as possible, this looks amazing, as always, thanks for sharing, God bless all.

Love the table. I think if you put rubber or felt pads on the screw heads, . you could still use a glass top.

So is the angle 20 degrees for the legs? I'm having a bit of issue getting them to line up like I would prefer

I think fitting the legs half way across the hexagons, though more difficult might be cool, have to work out what sort of taper would be needed

I think it would look pretty cool if you put a fake flame running through the centre (the orange fabric with lights and a fan)

Is there any way to figure out the angles on the leg cuts mathematically instead of mocking up and adjusting? Basically can you draw this out on graph paper and make a material cut list with just the height and width dimensions of the stool?

Buen día. No ablo inglés. Tengo las herramientas para efectuar los cortes y el material para el proyecto. Lo quiero realizar pero me podría dar los ángulos respectivos. Desde colombia gracias.

When I tried to make a hexagonal table top I found that my mitre saw was slightly inaccurate so my joints did not join up properly. The saw has clickable detents for the angles and while it is good enough for single mitre joint when you need them to join up in a circle it is no bueno!
