These are great bikes, test rode a Panegale V2 and the Supersport 950 and ended up buying the Supersport. These aren't slow for the road by any means. If you turn the TC and wheelie control off (or down to 1) and crank the throttle you;ll find the front wheel lifts very easily. Theres loads of torque and its punchy out of corners. This bike suprised me.

I had a 2004(?) ST4S ABS. Custom exhaust, it made 116 hp at the rear wheel. Loved that bike and wish I hadn’t let it go. Looking at the Super Sport S as it is very similar in a lot of ways, but lighter with more tech and better suspension. Thanks for posting.

Ill be in dallas next weekend. Trying to decide between a panigale or s1000rr. Still no demos? I have a hard time justifying buying a bike with those cost with out riding it.

It’s the lack of cruise control that’s killing this bike. The key word is touring. Not sure why Ducati did not put cruise control on this model.
