Single Image Edits are convenient for quick edits that you don’t necessarily want as part of your catalog. However, once an image is opened as a Single Image, you can’t open it a second time for a different editing session. It’s a quirk with how the image gets opened in Luminar. I’ll explain in today’s video.

I know it uses memory, but I'll make copies of the photos I plan on editing so that L4 works with them and then I have an untouched file to go back to if I want to later. I'll eventually cull the extras. (I only use single photo editing.) -Elaine J.

Sorry, BUG! This needs to be fixed by Skylum! I posit their code logic has a slot in their catalog that holds the single edit so they can use common access logic to get to it (rather than exception logic being as you did not reference catalog shots). BUG! (Ok, or poorly-thought-out logic!)
