"Cedric first had the melody of this song while being stuck in traffic during the celebration of a Hindu Festival here in Mauritius call Maha Shivaratri.
You would know if you had experienced it before that there’s no way of escaping such a situation quickly. So he surrendered, watched the scene and while being amazed at the different colors surrounding him and the people being joyous walking, he was offered food and drinks and that could have been the main trigger for this melody to appear. We were then in studio, he told me the story and in one-go I wrote the lyrics down as per how I felt about it myself. It starts with 'Street lights flashing in their eyes my breath is taken away ' SATYA is a word in Sanskrit that means Truth and truth is what we find when we pay attention and surrender to what is in the present moment.💞"
