2 years ago I turned on Texas vs K State.

Had no idea who I was pulling for, as I live in Oregon and I'm ducks fan.

After a moment, I kept hearing the name. "Deuce Vaughn! 20 yard gain!".

Over and over, his name was called. So the following week I tuned in to K State to watch this small back dominate bigger schools and defensive lines.

I watched him dismantle Alabama and TCU. Never once considering he might one day become a cowboy. The night they drafted him, I was stoked and couldn't believe a player I admired would be picked by my favorite NFL team.

I really hope deuce proves everyone wrong and shows the world he deserves to be a back in the NFL.

Analytics can measure statistics, but not heart. Deuce has the heart, I just hope he can show it every single week.

Deuce has great vision if you watch it at a slower speed he sets up the defenders. Pretty amazing footwork

I played on the official Cowboys team at my country the same position as a kid and now I'm the same height. This man makes me remember those times and see what I would achieve if I decided to follow that path instead of focus on my studies.

People don't understand because he's short that's his advantage, he can hit holes smaller than anyone else in the league. It's hard to see him behind a big ass lineman especially because he's fast and quick AF so it's hard to get a clean hit on him. Everyone had midget jokes for him in high school and college and he shut them all up and will do the same in the pros.

Great to see Deuce getting an NFL TD (even if it is in a preseason game). I got to meet him at the end of K-State's season opener last year, and he was a real class act, signing autographs for a bunch of young fans.
