Sorry for the frustration! I have found that non-OEM parts are usually more work....not worth the savings in most cases. Bummer! That sucks! Poor little 5 year old that put that together didn't get his nap that day! :/ ...ya could cut that tab off and weld back in with an extension (pattern off the orig) rather that cut all those welds...still would be a ton of work. Lookin forward to more!

I don't know how they expect some of these aftermarket parts to fit because as you just showed they ain't even close to the factory specs. I thought I was the only that had those kind of problems..lol

I know the frustration with AM parts but on the other hand if we had to depend totally on OEM or salvaged parts we would be paying twice what we pay now. I do wish the suppliers would take more pride in their work but with what they are paid I can understand.

You can not get parts from CNH, if they have you have to pay 4 times the price, I drilled it out like you did then heated the lock tab on the tractor and moved it over a little, the same problem on my Ford 4000 so you have to deal with aftermarket

Maybe they didn't waste any welding so it will be easier for you to cut them off. :)

Farmboy, if you went to Ford would it be OEM or would they have to go after market? If Ford could get it they would probably want your right arm and leg for it. Probably double the cost.
