3:48 for the record, fictional trucks are simply unlicensed trucks that have been slightly changed to avoid copyright laws, they are based entirely on real life trucks.

It's *VERY* ironic to have highway class trucks in game where there's one foot (0.30 meters) of concrete and

I found myself playing with highway and heavy duty trucks more often the past 4-5 maps, since Ontario, I needed fast and efficient trucks that do the job quick enough and that was refreshing experience to me

on another note: Kenworth W990 is an underrated truck imo, fast with special tires for mud and dirt. It's challenging to drive but enjoyable because it keeps you on your toes!

that begginer gmc highway truck with all upgrades is actually good. I also use bunch of heavy duties, I love them

The trucks i use the least such as highway or heavy duty i use as fuel or repair also put a tanker on one and use with the generator trailer n just leave it parked.

The GMC 9500 and Brigadier are REGULARS in my arsenal.

In my opinion if they all would have access to diff lock and awd, most of those trucks would perform pretty good. I installed a mod for western star 57x for it to have diff lock and this thing turned into a beast. For light and even medium mud this thing just slams through and I love it.

I would have put the Western Star 47X and 49X trucks in the "Heavy Duty" class instead of "Heavy" class. They don't have big tires, offroad suspensions or great ground clearance like many heavies do, but what they do have is really powerful engines that allow them to perform some real heavy duty jobs, much like the CAT CT681 and International HX 520.

'Heavy Duty' trucks are 'Jack of all trades but master of none' 😂.

Nice video
I agree with you, highway trucks aren't that solid but heavy can do the work. I mostly use heavy for support (fuel or generator) because I like to use a lot of trucks on each region (it's easier for each contract because there's often a truck close)
I think the big issue with these trucks is there are better trucks in the game so people tend to use the most efficient.
In Mudrunner, they used the star system on every map so you couldn't use all the trucks you wanted. Sometimes you had to choose if you wanted 2 trucks with 2 star (that were not the best) or only 1 truck 4 star.
For snowrunner, I think they can implement some multiplier on the contract like getting more credits / xp if you did a task with the GMC instead of Zikz 605. It won't be useful for people that have all trucks in the garage and at level 30 but that's another topic^^

I use the highway trucks in the regions that actually have highways ie the Scandinavian one. Be cool if the designed a map with a long highway and super tricky delivery's and missions off that highway.

Did you see the new website / forum for Snowrunner? You can submit some of the ideas and the community can vote on them.

i reckon high way class could have some boosted modifiers for road use, so tarmac or ice roads you can do at really high speed without stability problems, like right now they handle the same as heavy duty or offroad with the same tires

I use my Highway trucks with Large Maintenance Addon parked on the side of the main roads as mobile refuel/ repair before an offroad excursion.

The W990 is a beast. Yes there are places you need AWD but still the W990 deliveres. I even made the CT681 work in Amur. The new Kenny’s have yet to get tester a bit more by me but they have crazy potential

Heavy duty trucks are my favorite truck in snow runner and they need a buff the only reason I use the heavy truck class is for the Kenworth 963

I try to use all my trucks although I don’t mess with the Transtar or CLT aside from my RWD truck only play through

49X and the 114SD should be in the heavy duty class. No idea why they are in heavy/offroad. Heavy should be reserved for massive vehicles only. P16, P12, KOLOB's, 605, Twin-Steer, FEMM, these are heavy. 49X is a semi-truck. What is "heavy" about that truck?

With offroad I'd argue if it can't have the option to use track or mud tire, then it shouldn't be in offroad. The 114SD, and even the original Step truck, alough with the Royal should be in Heavy Duty.

GM9500 should probably be upgraded to Heavy Duty. It was a highway due to being one of these fuel efficient RWD only low offroad capability truck. But it got AWD added to it in a DLC and has since outgrown the highway class. Though I guess they keep it in there for players who don't have the Kola maps.
