Does the box use your phone for gps signal ? Or does the box use the cars shark fin antenna and tcu?

What did you do about the GPS antenna? Did you install one or did you already have one because your car had Maps/Nav from factory? Great video BTW 👍

thx for such a comprehensive video man. i put a screen in my e87 and it legit made it feel like a brand new car.

question: can you post a video showing what its like to getting into the car to drive normally. eg. do you need to turn anything special on or does Android Auto just connect immediately?
my screen won't connect for like the first 2 mins so I've always had to use the cable... which isnt great.

How did you connect sound to the box? I usually see these come with aux cables but I didn't see you use that cable in this video.
