This makes everything going on make so much sense if you see it from a business side not a player side. They want to maximise this years profit gain and this is how they do it, sad for us but hopefully it doesn't mean it here to stay, depends on what potential buyers pitch bids.

Pretty much always expect anything to become worse once it gets bought out.
It means that who ever bought it expects to get a return on their investment and they have less attachment to the community.
They will get their money back or they will kill the game trying.

Tbh necromancy and everything after that was just to boost company value, in saying that maybe its time for a change of management as I think RS has so much untouched potential that the current team just isnt tapping into, but rather milking for profits. Just my take though, wouldnt mind seeing rs3/rs4 in unreal 5 :")

Thanks Init, this explains a lot of what and why Jagex is doing what they have been the last few releases. Sounds like the mods are facing an increase the revenue decree from above to improve the books for a sale.

This is why necro is easy to lvl up. And easy to get wepons and armour and big damage. Will make nore people engaging the content and bosses with better gear .making then more Addicted to the end game content and playing more hours or bonds to lvl up for critical levels. ( and jagex just ruined the triangle with this...)
