The Best Bed Bug Bug Traps Available Today (2019)

I’ve tried similar traps like the plastic ones you recommend and they didnt catch anything. What worked for me was “Proof” brand plant based bed bug spray. Think I got it from Target. I sprayed the sh*t outta my bed and box spring all over from top to bottom inside and out...the smell was VERY strong for about a week and made me nautious but it worked...that was almost a year ago and I havent seen any bed bugs since. I still check from time to time to make sure.

I get that they have to hide sometimes, but other than that, why would they crawl into that?! Also there are videos showing that they are smart and don't get stuck in glue like roaches. What about traps with pheromones? So there is something to attract them?

you have to have a co2 source to attract them

I feel something needs clarification. These are great indicators for activity, not treatment. They work great for monitoring activity after a chemical treatment.

Why in the world would they make them so small? The bugs have a crap load more of locations to hide.
These are for detection of bed bugs? Those plastic container traps are ridiculously tiny and would likely only be used once there is already a significant population. Once they take up the other 95% of hiding locations in the bed, maybe at that point they would go into the plastic container.
